Carolyn studied at Grinnell College in Iowa and received her MFA at Washington University in St. Louis. Her practice includes new media, video and sculpture. She has exhibited internationally, including at Carnegie Museum of Art and Westmoreland Museum of American Art, where she received the 2019-2020 Irving and Aaronel deRoy Gruber Foundation Award.
